Terms & Conditions – Christmas Light Installation Services
These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all Christmas light installation services (“Services”)provided by Mr. Holidays Lighting & Powerwashing (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) to the customer (“Client,” “you,” or “your”). By booking our Services, you agree to the following:
1. Scheduling & Weather Delays
Installation dates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. All installation dates are weather dependent. Services may be postponed due to rain, snow, high winds, or unsafe conditions. The Company will make reasonable efforts to reschedule as soon as possible. The Company is not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply chain issues, or other events outside of our control.
2. Photos & Videos for Marketing
By hiring the Company, you grant us permission to take photos and/or videos of your property with installed decorations. These materials may be used for marketing, advertising, training, and promotional purposes (including social media, website, and print). If you do not wish for your property to be photographed or used in marketing, you must notify the Company in writing before installation.
3. Payment & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your installation date.
The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to pay may result in removal of decorations and/or legal collection remedies.
4. Installation & Materials
The Company provides all lights, decorations, extension cords, and timers unless otherwise specified.
All equipment remains the property of the Company unless the Client has purchased décor outright.
The Client agrees not to tamper with, move, or alter installed decorations.
5. Removal of Decorations
Removals are scheduled after the holiday season, beginning on or around [insert date, e.g., January 2nd].
Weather may also delay removal services.
6. Liability & Safety
The Company is fully insured for installation work. However, we are not responsible for:
– Damage caused by faulty electrical systems, overloaded circuits, or customer-provided equipment.
– Damage caused by severe weather, acts of God, animals, or vandalism.
The Client must provide safe access to the property, including clearing ice, snow, or obstructions at the
installation area.
7. Warranty
The Company guarantees that all lights and décor we provide will be in working condition upon installation. If any Company-provided lights fail during the season due to defect, we will repair or replace them at no cost. This warranty does not cover damage caused by weather, pets, children, or tampering by the Client or others.
8. Customer Responsibilities
Client must provide access to exterior power outlets in working condition.
Client agrees to keep timers, outlets, and decorations free from interference.
Client agrees to notify the Company immediately of any issues so we can resolve them.
9. Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable.
Cancellations made after materials are purchased or work has begun may require full payment.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. By booking our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions
